Built to run the length of a hallway or staircase. Handwoven in Maimana, Afghanistan.

Flatweave, not knotted — wool pulled taut across a wool warp, no pile, no glue. Reversible by design.

Hand-spun wool, dyed with vegetable dye in small batches — the natural colour banding (abrash) is a sign of the hand, not a flaw.

300 × 82 cm (9'10" x 2'8"). Handwoven once, sold once. No restock, no repeat — just this piece.
